Hi, my name is Alberto Rossotto 👋
I got my first computer, a ZX Spectrum, when I was just four years old. I couldn’t even read the keyboard yet, but it instantly captured my imagination. A few years later, I was writing my first lines of BASIC on an Amiga to speed up math homework. Fast forward to university, I earned a degree in Software Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin.
Since then, I’ve worked for all sort of companies. From pre-launch startups to large scale enterprises, gaining experience in everything from building products from scratch to managing live mission-critical systems. Today, I’m a fully remote freelance professional, taking on roles like Lead Developer and hands-on Engineering Manager.
I’m passionate about lifelong learning, particularly in Computer Science. To stay organized, I take extensive notes, and sometimes those notes evolve into articles. This blog is my way of collecting and sharing some of those learnings and experiences in one place.
